With just 10 days or so until the big day, we’re very busy with final preparations for SaferInternet Day here at SID HQ, as we are sure you are too! This mailing comes with a new social media plan with suggested posts, tweets and images for you to use in your own social media activity, along with a few reminders also…
SID Thunderclap
Thanks also to all those who have already supported our SID Thunderclap – we have already met a potential reach of 1.25 million people with a message which will be released on the morning of SID, but we think we can do better! Support the Thunderclap athttps://bit.ly/SID2017 and please feel free to encourage your networks and contacts to do so also. A reminder that the Thunderclap can be supported from both personal and organisational social media accounts.
Social media
In addition to the social media plan attached to this mailing, remember to follow events at www.facebook.com/SaferInternetDay and www.twitter.com/safeinternetday - and tweet using#SID2017 and #SaferInternetDay - leading up to, on and after the day!
Tell us about your successes!
European Safer Internet Centres in the Insafe-INHOPE networks should report on their SID successes using the template as already supplied. For all other countries and supporters, although there is no need to submit a formal post-SID report, we’d still like to hear about your plans and successes! If you’d like to provide us with a blog post (including copyright-cleared images if possible) on your planned actions or SID successes, either before or after the big day, we’d love to receive it and will disseminate it via our various channels. Please send any contributions to the SID Helpdesk.
